DiscussIt !
DiscussIt is a web program written in java (a servlet) for Novell NetWare servers that allows web based discussion, file upload and distributed file editing/versioning, together with NDS-based access control. Since administration can be done via web interface, the goal is to create a self-maintained internet forum.
Discussion articles and files are stored in directories on the server file system, and all information needed for DiscussIt functionality is stored in file properties and NDS user or NDS group rights. Therefore, no NDS scheme extensions and no database are necessary.
You can use DiscussIt with any modern web browser that supports JavaScript.

DiscussIt has a lot of functions you can deactivate. Since I did not check all possible combinations, you might come across some errors when changing the program options. Please mail bug reports to discussit@it-de-sign.com. If time permits, I will do some enhancements on the email functionality and integrate the NetWare WebSearch program.
